Writing
Over the last decade, I have written a lot of therapeutically related articles and pieces. A major focus of my writing has been my children’s books: The Elements Series. These children’s books include: Where Water Meets Rock, Where Seed Meets Earth and Where Fire Meets Air. These books are about contrast, facing doubt, experiencing growth and making friends with your obstacles. Here’s a little more about them:
Where Water Meets Rock
This is a story of how the rivers were born. Birth happens over time, with collaboration and connection and with tension and pain.
Obstacles clarify who we are at our source. Obstacles are frustrating but with patience and compassion, we can know these obstacles and feel gratitude for them. When we judge the obstacle as bad, we miss the point and may continue to come up against obstacles over and over. This is life and it is beautiful.

Along the way, Water met Rock. “Who are you and why do you stand in my path? I want to wander and be free!”
“I am Rock” said the massive bolder looking down on the little trickle of water. “I don’t mean to stand in your way, but this is my home and I have lived here for a very long time.”
Where Seed Meets Earth
“Where Seed Meets Earth” is the second book in The Elements children’s picture book series. It is a story about fear, growth, support and vulnerability.

When a tiny seedling takes an unexpected adventure, she learns that being open and vulnerable can actually make her stronger.

Where Fire Meets Air

“Where Fire Meets Air” is the third book in The Elements children’s picture book series. It is a tale about a spark of creativity, the discipline and determination of wind, and their ability to work together to keep passion alive.
When an alone but vibrant spark faces doubts from the surrounding scrub, he must discover how to be the biggest and brightest he can be.
Night after night he looks up at the night sky and sees his grandfathers shining bright. He meets an unlikely group of friends in order to send his grandfathers a message.
